Further news from my Research Team

I asked my research team to look further into NumberWiz's possible improvement of mental agility. Here's what they found:

  1. They defined Mental Agility to be the ability to solve puzzles of any kind.
  2. Solving an interesting puzzle usually requires an individual to think outside of the box. This means finding new angles to the problem and pursuing those.
  3. Solving puzzles isn't only about sheer brain power, but also about perseverance. It's about spending the brain power on finding a possible path forward and then pursuing that path.
They summarized: a good problem solver is good at identifying the possible path forward and finding the solution, and persevering.

The team found that the NumberWiz game indeed helps you practice problem solving. Their finding from a previous study, cited on this blog, that NumberWiz improves the IQ, was further strengthened. They found conclusive proof that NumberWiz also makes you a happier and more confident person. As many as 62% of the sampled persons said they felt more confident after playing NumberWiz for a total of 6 hours per week on average.

NumberWiz shows you that what worked well last time, doesn't necessarily work this time. There are many ways forward, but only a few of them will solve the problem.

The above report is fiction
